The AMD Hydraulic Press also delivers full tonnage throughout the entire stroke. These pressures can be concentrated over small or large bed areas with minimal deflection offering unsurpassed process control. Simplified hydraulic ram construction eliminates clutches, brakes, eccentrics, gear trains and complicated components. This minimizes downtime for service and repairs. Every AMD Hydraulic Press also features hydraulic overload protection. The low shock design and simplicity allows for easy installation of the hydraulic press with no elaborate foundation requirements.
Many of our press designs also feature 8-point guiding, removable slide bolsters and split piston rod connections. AMD Hydraulic Presses are available in a full range of sizes and capacities from 100 to 10,000+ tons. Press configurations include: vertical, horizontal, single or multiple axis.
Our hydraulic press designs can be used effectively with extreme accuracy for a wide range of operations to include: forming, extruding, drawing, trimming, welding, coining, punching, and laminating.
